Why Photographers Are Ditching Backdrop Clamps

Traditional hardware store pegs weren't made for Savage or Spectrum paper rolls. They are clumsy to use and often cause more damage than they prevent. The Paper Hug is different, it’s designed specifically for the workflow of a busy photographer.

• Prevents Unravelling on Stands
  Gravity is the enemy of a tidy studio. The Paper Hug can be used while your backdrop is mounted to a backdrop stand or a wall-mounted roller system. It acts as a manual brake, securing the "tail" of the paper to the roll to prevent it from creeping or unspooling onto the floor.
• The Power of Three: To keep your setup perfectly tensioned, we recommend using at least 3 Paper Hugs per roll, one on each end and one in the centre, to prevent the paper from sagging or "telescoping" while hanging.
